Since its creation, Meridional has focused on producing feature films, documentaries and short films, has developed projects for television series and has staged more than forty theatre shows.
Its productions have participated in many festivals and have won numerous national and international awards, including the Ojo Crítico de Radio Nacional de España Award, as well as several nominations for the Goya Awards for Spanish cinema and the Max Awards for the Performing Arts.
The Meridional Producciones team starts this 2020 focused on the development of national and international co-productions in film and television.
Entre sus próximos proyectos en preparación se encuentran Empieza el baile, el nuevo largometraje de Marina Seresesky, coproducción hispano-argentina entre Meridional Producciones, Áralan Films y Oeste Films y el montaje teatral Mefisto for ever, adaptación libre de Tom Lanoye del “Mefisto” de Klaus Mann y que, bajo la dirección de Álvaro Lavín, se estrenará en Madrid en septiembre de 2022.
